Mad Head Spa was founded by Madalina Puscas and Delia Achim with a shared vision: to create a place where professional scalp care and the art of sensory relaxation could exist together.
But the story began long before our doors opened.
Before becoming the co-founder of Mad Head Spa, Madalina was a registered nurse, a mother, and the creator behind Mad P ASMR. Through her videos, millions of people around the world discovered the comfort of gentle sounds, intentional movements, and the simple feeling of being cared for.
What began as creating moments of relaxation through a screen slowly grew into something more meaningful. People weren't just watching. They were finding comfort, moments of calm, and a way to disconnect from the noise of everyday life.
And that sparked an idea.
What if that feeling could exist beyond a screen?
What if the same attention to detail, the same gentle movements, and the same sensory experience could become something people could actually feel. Together, Madalina and Delia brought that vision to life, opening Mad Head Spa in Park Ridge, Illinois, in March 2025.
Their goal was never simply to open another spa. It was to create an experience that brought together two worlds often treated separately: professional scalp care and sensory relaxation.
To do that, they built a team of licensed professionals who shared their belief that caring for the scalp requires knowledge, intention, and a genuine understanding of the person receiving the treatment.
Because healthy hair begins at the scalp. But caring for the scalp can be about so much more than hair.
It's about understanding its needs, recognizing the effects of everyday stress, and creating moments when the mind can finally become quiet. Today, that belief lives in every Mad Head Spa experience.
